[Rhodes22-list] Main sail furling

Hi Ron,
I also have the vertical battens main sail, and the sail furls in up to the battens. Mine began sticking at the same point as yours. A closer look revealed that the sun-cover stitching at the end would catch at the edge of the groove in the mast, and prevent the sail from furling in completely.
I applied sail tape over that area, creating a smooth surface over both sides of the sail, and that solved the problem. Now my sail no longer sticks up on the UV stitching, but now folds all the way up to the vertical batten.
Hope this helps.

Rummy,
This is a picture of the situation. No matter how I try I can't get the bottom part of the sail to match the top part that is entirely within the mast. You'll notice as you go up the sacrificial part of the sail, the stitching disappears into the mast.
