[Rhodes22-list] Kindle versus Sony Touch Reader, Experience?

Art,

That's the same one I got, the second generation of the smaller Kindle. 
It's a great box and, yes, web access is "free"; actually I think of it more
as "prepaid".  It's not such a good web surfing box that Amazon risks anyone
using it that way, but it works about as well as any mobile device and
better than most because of the increase screen area.  I keep the local
weather radar on a bookmark so I can quickly take a look see.  That works
even 5 miles offshore of Cleveland.
