The thought of sailing without music is appauling. I opted for a $100 unit from West Marine. I also got the WM speakers. I got 2 pair of 4 inch waterproof speakers. I have 2 mounted under the cockpit seats near the bulkhead facing aft and the other 2 in at the end of the vberth facing aft. Wnen my head unit dies (7 years and counting) I will probably replace with a removable Satalite radio that I can share between my car and boat.
