[Rhodes22-list] Rhodes22 in the Virgin Islands

If you're going to the Virgin Islands, then rum would be the drink of
choice. Mt. Gay if Rummy is on board. The advantage of rum is it takes
up less room than beer, so you could take more with you. Either way, I
agree with Tom, buying a container ship would still be the cheaper
alternative. - rob

I think it would be cheaper to put in on a container ship then supply
you
guys with beer for the trip. It might even be cheaper to buy a
container
ship.
Let's see, if you sail *non-stop* out of Miami, it would probably take
about
15 days at 3.5 knots. You guys are just going to have to sleep in the
cockpit and fill the cabin with kegs. And by N.O. I guess you mean New
Orleans? You are truly a glutton for punishment.
The cost of shipping it is the next major factor. I have emailed one of
the
local shipping companies, but haven't heard back yet.

Ben,
Can't you figure out a way to tow the beer behind the R22? At least
that
way, it will stay cooler and won't be so much work!
