Herb:  Thanks for the input, I understand the 101 is round and like the idea
of not installing more than I need on the bulkhead, it's helpful to hear
that the size works for you.

Jerry: Mounting the garmin on a swivel arm is a neat idea and would allow
use of the unit from both the cockpit and cabin areas, I think I have seen a
similar device used for a radio mount, my feeling is that the bulkead mount
would be a cleaner and simpler installation.
