[Rhodes22-list] Mast step

My mast step functioned as designed, and now I have a minor fiberglass
repair.

It looks like a previous owner used a sealant with some adhesive properties,
which is why some gelcoat came up with the step and the screws.  

What product do you like to seal the step upon re-attaching?  I looked in
the archives and in the old FAQ location, and don't see specifics.    I
assume that adhesive is not required or desired.
