The second picture is your old boat (the one being painted)?  If you can
zoom in, you can see two attachment points on the board and some looping
line which I would think wound indicate some sort of pulley
arrangement?? - rob

Rob,

The second picture is my old boat, which I just sold to Bob Mellor.  I'm
pretty sure I did not have pulleys.  It took about 3 feet of rope to
raise
and lower the centerboard.
