Ron,
Rummy convinced me to buy the same whisker pole. I've only used it half a
season but it seems like the perfect pole. Cheap, strong, and easy to use.
I hesitated buying it because I thought I might want a trigger on both ends.
I was wrong. The trigger works great attached to a shroud but I like the
spike for attaching to the clew. It's easy to get in and out and it seems
like there is always enough tension on it that it has yet to fall out.
