[Rhodes22-list] Transom Thickness

Dan,
My ship will be uncovered, launched and dockside by the third week in April.
If you care to email me after that date, I'll take photos of the stern with
it's modifications , stainless and aluminum additions that make the transom
capable of handling a sculling oar or a 150lb. outboard.... without worry.

over the whole thickness of the transom - not screw into it, but rather
clamp onto it. On top of the bracket I'll mount an oarlock to support the
long sculling oar. Until I see how all this will work, I don't plan to
drill any holes in the boat! Thanks again.
