Hi Leland,
 
The pictures came through, and that is indeed a tidy install.  It looks like a much simpler job to install the transducer at that location than between the water tank and the battery in the v-berth.

Caesar,

Reference your transducer, the attached pictures below show where Stan
installed mine.  It's slightly under the aft seat, so the milk crates I use
for storage protect the transducer from damage.
