[Rhodes22-list] Is This IMF Rattling & Shaking Normal

My boat is rigged at the side of my home, and I am noticing a lot of rattling noise whenever I board or even shake the boat, which is sitting on its trailer.  Looking in the slot in the IMF mast, I can see the folded sail on it furler shaking.  Looking to the head or top of the mast I can see and hear the head of the furler moving and making contact with the inside of the mast.
 
This seems abnormal to me.  What is there to run slack?  When I take the mast down, what must I look for?  How is the IMF secured in the mast?
 
How can I detect and correct what must be corrected, if anything?  I will be taking a closer look at how the IMF is installed and secured in the mast so that it furls and unfurls, but not shake and rattle.  Too much movement and noise to be normal.
