Lee,
Good news on the cruise - one of my fondest wishes is to cruise the Chesapeake. As you prep for your outing, take a look at your v-berth and see if it could accommodate an extension headboard up to the bulkhead, stbd side. I'm going to try one in Fla in a week, think it may prove a nice advantage in sleeping comfort. You are taller and may be an option for you.
