[Rhodes22-list] Leaking Opening Ports

On our '86 if we kept the gasket and window cleaned and periodically put Vaseline on the gasket, we had no leaks. The gaskets tend to dry out so you are trying to keep them pliable.
On our Tartan we were able to replace the gaskets. Not sure about the ports on the Rhodes.

Lee,
Replacing/fabricating the snap-on window cover is no big deal, but water still gets underneath.
Stan has posted that the two front side windows are the only difficult ones for achieving a successful rebed, due to the compound curves of the mounted surface. I have contemplated a few new windows, maybe the back four, on Mary Jane, anticipating about $90 per. Who can estimate the probable time for a window changeout and the tools suggested?

After several hundred on-and-offs the snaps broke. Now I leave the covers off but have to sponge out the ports everytime it rains.
