I can't remember without looking but I think you need to first remove or disconnect the tube for the cb pennant which goes from the top aft end of the cap, up to the bottom of the cockpit gutter just below the hatchway where the cb line comes up in the cockpit.. It goes up behind the aft wall.

I have removed all of the screws from the centerboard cap and the front flat
portion of the cap will lift up, but the rear portion of the cap is stuck
tight. There doesn't appear to be any sealant on the gasket. The gasket seems
very pliable. I'm afraid to pry too much or do anything that might compromise
the gasket. Any ideas?
