During our trip I had the need to tie a bowline knot and it did knot come
easy. Alice just sent me this site:

In addition to easy-to-learn knot tying, it has some other cool things I
thought some of you might find interesting.

We were delivering Beats Prozac through Kent Narrows to a marina where
she'll be dry-docked for the winter. No sailing but with the great weather
and company it was a most enjoyable day. We were prepared for a strong
current through the Narrows and weren't disappointed. While waiting for the
bridge to open we were lightly motoring into the current yet still going
backwards. I was glad Alice had a big 9.9 outboard on her boat.
My boat isn't as new or pristine as Alice's, but Stan told me that red hulls
are faster:

Don't know about rum-fueled yellow hulls.
