Greg,
Is your mooring on the Flats side or the Elk River side? We haven't 
been up that way in years but used to launch a Compac from the State 
Park ramp on the Elk River side and sail past the mooring bouys on 
the Elk River. We lived in PA then and would trailer down. We sailed 
down to the Sassafras from there a couple of times and spent nice 
overnights in Back Creek (behind Knight Island) and in Turner's Creek.

We've been back up to the Sassafras with the Rhodes when we kept her 
on the Middle River but never as far north as Turkey Point. From Rock 
Hall, Still Pond is about as far as we go in a day but we like 
leisurely days and getting in early.

Hope to see you down this way next year.
