>From the picture you can see my Genoa sheets set up to run on the outside of
my shrouds (stays).  If you pull your sheets tight they will rub against the
shrouds.  Rob's PVC pipe idea is a great way to prevent damage to your
sheets.

If you look at the side of the cabin you'll see that you can also run your
sheets between the outside and inside shrouds, which will give you a tighter
sail for going more into the wind.  If you look at the top of the cabin
you'll see that you can run your sheets between the inside shroud and the
mast for an even tighter sail shape.

I try not to rub my sheets and after five years have had no wear and tear,
but using PVC pipe makes it much easier and worry-free.  It's on my list of
boat improvements.

The sheets typically run outside the stays.  They will rub.  A lot of owners
will fit a length of PVC pipe over the stays to reduce the rubbing.

Hello to the group I am Cody and became the proud owner last Nov. I would
ask if any one in the group has any pics as to how the jib sheets run back
to the cockpit as I am sure I have them wrong?? running from the sails (jib)
around  the stays - were they rub!! and on to the cockpit. I am sure thats
wrong! Please help!! thx Cody
