I also leave my mast winch in place all the time unless it for a weekend
sail. When we get ready to raise mast my 15 yo daughter and myself can raise
mast with boom complete in about 20 min.

Hey Mike,
I like your idea of leaving the mast winch in place for traveling.  I'll 
have to try that.  I'm not trying to get under an hour for rigging, but 
getting the winch out of the truck, putting it on, taking it off, 
putting it back in the truck is not efficient at all.
