Mike,
You know that GB now uses a bail, attached to the mast front, rather than attaching the crane to the aft lower stays.  They might send you one if you ask.  I can assure you it is kinder to the spreader bracket, which will become distorted with repeated use, until it has to be replaced by Dwyer at $40+.
