The key to proper snow shoveling is the use of massive quantities of  
alcohol. Shovel for ten minutes and then take a long extended break and drink  
heavily. It may not make the snow disappear, but you certainly won't be 
fretting  over it as much.
I always put off until tomorrow, that which I don't want to do today. In  
your case, wait long enough and the snow will melt. Nice house.
