[Rhodes22-list] Bilge Pump Question

Rob / Caesar,
The swimming pool solution is to plumb a check valve in the line between
the pump and the sink drain. Then you should only have minimal if any
leakage back to the bilge regardless of how much you heel the boat. I would
recommend a spring loaded or a butterfly check valve over a gravity flap for
obvious reasons. Find a pool/spa dealer in your area and the serviceperson
should know what I'm talking about. They are made in various sizes and you
should be able to find one to suit your needs.
