Kathy,
I have a 5 HP Briggs & Stratton outboard. It has been trouble free in
it's 4th season in salt water. Plenty of power to move the Rhodes in
bay & offshore conditions, weighs 53 lbs and cost $800 brand new w a 2
year warrenty.
