Mike,
Bring a bottle of each. I lack the ability to make wine but will bring a
couple of store bought examples. Perhaps a nice Riesling and a dry Bordeaux.
Depending on time available I can think of a couple of places that could
serve as a race layout. We could use the "no wake" buoys at various coves as
course markers and I give my word that I will not practice on any of these
layouts in order to gain unfair advantage due to how the wind swirls around
the mountains. Be warned however 2 wks ago I was making the last tack back
to the marina; sheets close hauled and the wind did the famous Kinzua double
cross (90* shift wind speed doubled) and while it wasn't a knockdown I'd
call it a pushover as I got the rub rail in the water for 15 seconds or so.
VERY EXCITING
Looking forward to this
