[Rhodes22-list] Why is this happening

John,
  I see the reply from David Culp on that thread at 10:50 on Wednesday (I'm Central Time), so it's a real message.  I haven't seen anything scrambled though.

I have no idea, haven't seen that before.  But so far only Elle and  
Caesar have confirmed getting them.  Since they don't appear in the  
archives, I am thinking that they are not originating from the the  
list software.  Also, archives don't record any reply by David Culp to  
the thread "What do you suggest as replacement".  All this leads me to  
believe that somebody on the list has a virus that is forging list  
mail based on addresses it finds stored in the infected computer.   
Just my working theory of the moment...
