Rummy,

"Almost makes me wish"?  We would love to have you Rummy.

Think of it as an adventure, a long leisurely drive through our beautiful 
country.  Think of sailing in the Puget Sound, one of the more desirable sailing 
destinations.  Think of sailing with the Rhodies of the North West, many of whom 
you have encouraged and coached along the way.  


I think it promises to be a richly rewarding experience, despite the distance.

I suspect that you are not the only one wishing, but I also suspect that you 
guys can do much better than that.

We will try to decide on next year's date early, giving everyone ample time to 
plan.

Come on Rummy, let's do better than "almost make me wish."

Chris,
I finally got around to reading your account of the R22 sail to Canada and  
what a wonderful job you did with it. Thank you for taking the time to 
write it  all up. It almost makes me wish I could join you next year, but the 
mileage  would be a killer.

Here is the actual story of the NW 2010  Rhodes Rally. The story and 
pictures
are about 10 pages long.  There  were lots more pictures but these give you
an idea of what it was like  along with some text explaining the trip that
all  four Rhodes 22's  went on.  Alice and I did stick around almost another
2 weeks and  checked out some other places.  I'll do that write up  another
time.
