[Rhodes22-list] Boom Car stop?

Patrick,
Here's a picture of my sliding stop. Unfurling the main will slide the stop
back but as Mary Lou said it's designed to stick in place so it's much
easier to just slide it all the way to the back of the boom before unfurling
the main, and then slide it to the desired position:

Ours is also "free"-sliding. I put the free in quotes because it
needs to be helped into position and once there it stays until we
move it. The friction in the slot in the boom seems to hold it in place.
