[Rhodes22-list] heater in the cabin

Hey Mary Lou,
Now your friend sounds cool, he can play a musical
instrument, set things on fire and blow them up, a true Renaissance man.
Don't know about the cool part for me. Perhaps fortunate is a better word,
as I don't need to be any more mature than an 8th grader to keep my job.
Now Rummy can be less mature than an 8th grader and keep his job but that is
because he is self employed and his boss is a 7th grader with keys to the
liquor locker.

That just further reinforces my notion that I don't want an alcohol
stove or fuel on my boat.
8th grade science teachers must be the coolest folks. Probably have
to be to survive. An acquaintance of ours who is a very good musician
would occasionally come to an open mike at the local coffeehouse and
do a few of those "flashy" science experiments. Then he'd pick up his
accordion and play a few New England fiddle tunes on it.
Best,
Mary Lou
