[Rhodes22-list] Why can't I use 3/16" for forestay with Harken?

I bought a used Harken 00AL Furler and it came with a 3/16" forestay that is
in very good condition. I know you want to keep all the stays the same size,
but why not use the 3/16"? It won't put any more down pressure if the back
stays are still 1/8" and it would add a little more security up front to
hand the added weight of the furler. Thoughts?
