[Rhodes22-list] Water in bilge from line w/o check valve?

My boat came with two thru hulls. One is for the sink and the other is for
the bilge. The bilge line doesn't have a check valve and I suspect I am
getting water in from it.  Burt's idea is to add a loop in the line and
extend it higher. That is a good idea, I will look into fittings and tubing
(and check valves) at Lowes.

What thru hull are you talking about? The sink? We don't have a bilge 
pump so I'm only guessing.. If you feel the bilge pump is necessary, 
can you route it into the sink?
