[Rhodes22-list] Anyone careened their Rhodes 22?

Jerry,

Be real careful when going under a boat "by feel" if you can't see well in
the water. The first season that my Rhodes 22 was moored, the bottom paint
that Stan applied failed and the boat was covered with barnacles. They are
razor sharp. When I banged on the center board to free mine that year, I
sustained cuts on my hands and scalp that required stitches! They are not
something to take lightly.

If you must try to free the board while in the water, anchor in a few feet
of water and use a mop or brush on a 8-10 foot pole to reach the area from
along side the boat.
