Good advice, which I will heed. But the photo you sent is of the port side and stern with a cargo strap. I'll get a hold of Stan about the bracket on the pulpit. Or maybe he'll read this and contact me.

I don't do any of these things that Tom does but it certainly protects everything. I don't use any padding anywhere - not a bad idea but I have never needed it. Mary Lou is correct in that I trailer quite a lot. One very useful item is in the attached picture which I had welded to the bow pulpit railing as part of the running light bracket. It comes standard on newer boats but Stan gave me this plastic piece when I visited the factory and it holds the mast firmly - you just slide the mast in and it snaps in place. I just secure it with the one large zip tie and this eliminates the mast rotating while trailering.
Am returning to Punta Gorda, FL in 2 weeks and then making a trip to Pensacola in late May/early June. Just can't get enough of sailing in Florida.
