Does yours have the nine point rigging system, or the 6 point? As far as I
know, mine has been the only one I have heard of that had the 6 point
system. No windows in cabin front, and no hatches on roof. The Galley is a
bit shorter, and the bathroom is aft about 2 ft from where the newer ones
are, although this makes the v-berth longer. I think it used to have a cabin
floor, but that rotted out, or was torn out. For now we use the raw hull and
cement for a floor, painted white. Has the swing keel trunk sticking 3 inches
above the cement, which is easy to stub toes on, so I plan on rebuilding the
floor at some point, but have not as yet. I just bit the bullet and ordered
4X10 ports from beckson marine, they look like they will fit well in my
boat, not sure if the newer rhodes22 windows are bigger or what, but mine
measure 4X 10.5. The ones I got are over runs for 33 bux, I am unable to
find a better price anywhere.
I am currently replacing the foam under the cockpit, as well as making
bracing for the cockpit floor. My bulkheads fore and aft of the foam were
rotting out and after I tore the aft one out, found that the foam that was
left filled maybe 1/4 of the area, and was so heavy/ waterlooged, I am not
sure how much flotation it would have given me. I will post pics of work in
progress when I get a chance.
