These pictures were taken at high tide Saturday evening.  Wind and rain
became worse but not much.  I added a fifth line; a spring line attached to
the bulkhead grab bar (thanks to advice on this list).  Note the bimini
laying loosely on the poptop.

The trees fell on Sunday morning after the ground was good and saturated.

I also opted to keep Opus in the water at her slip with extra lines and
fenders, main securly wraped around the mast and furling head sail tied with
extra lines.  Took the bimini home (just fits in my car) and secured the
hatches.  I worry about trees and flying debri around the yacht yard and
felt better about keeping her in the water.

The Dockmaster at Sandy Hook Bay Marina reports that s/v Susan Kay came
through the storm just fine. I finally got through to him this AM (power and
cell service down). The docks float (major factor in not hauling her) and he
reported they came up slightly above the bulkheads during the high tide at
the height of the surge. I left her tied to the dock (six 5/8 dock lines),
starboard side to, with multiple shock cords around the mast and furled
headsail (which I left up) and was sure to keep the cockpit plug out of the
drain. Four big well placed and secure fenders. Tony says she looks great,
not a scratch. 

I thought about hauling her but frankly the boats out on stilts looked in
more precarious positions than nestled next to the dock that would raise and
lower with the tide.
