Actually, Al - it's not. While we did come to an "agreement" a few
years ago to ditch the highly political partisan postings, our
charter (somewhere on R22.org) clearly states that this is the
equivalent of a sailor's bar and that topics well beyond sailing are
welcome. In recent weeks, we have discussed elle's dog, Rummy's
Packers and the weather on Lake Michgan. It's winter. Except for our
very southern friends sailing time is limited. Bob Keller is a
longtime contributor to this list. He doesn't abuse the list with a
lot of jokes - just one he found amusing. Let's cut each other a break.
