Thanks; that was my original plan. If Stan does it, that would be the model for
my behavior. In addition, it saves me about $150.

Joe, when Stan's crew prepped my boat for trailering they tied a rope sling
from the motor (Yamaha 9.9) to the stern pulpit to offer support for the
motor. The photo is here:
