[Rhodes22-list] Sailing from Herrington Harbor to HudsonCreek on the Little Choptank

Chris,

 

A couple at the end of my dock just completed the Delmarva in their
Islander36.  They were part of a group—I think it’s an annual event.  I know
the group had several ads in Spinsheet looking for interested sailors.

 

Another guy in my marina did the Delmarva in his Rhodes22.  He has since
traded in his Rhodes for a larger cruiser.  I think his name is Jim
Morrison, but maybe I’m thinking of The Doors.  I can put you in touch if
you’d like.

 

I would relate it to running a marathon or climbing a mountain.  Not really
that fun but I’d like to prove to myself that I could do it.  24 hours/day
for a week and mostly motoring can’t be that much fun.
