Here are a couple pictures of my CB restoration. I got the plastic from
McMaster and had to do just minor milling to get a snug but smooth fit of
the pin into the CB. I am using the left over plastic to make new rollers
for the CB line. The plastic will do very little wear on the rope and I plan
on using it a lot less now. 

I have my order in for the bottom paint and will post a finished picture
next weekend. The total cost with the bottom paint is $50.

Products used. Tubing glassed into CB with long strand fiberglass gel.
