[Rhodes22-list] Bilge pump

Hi Charles,
Depends on your boat, how often you'll be checking on her, whether
other people will pay attention etc.

Fretless has been in slip for at least 10 years and we don't have a
bilge pump. We do check her after a heavy rain. If we take more than
a few spongefuls of water out of the bilge we know it's time to start
rebedding things. Our goal has always been a dry bilge and we've
achieved that probably at least half the time she's been in the slip.
We do have a handheld manual bilge pump for times when it's really
been an issue.

There are people on the list with bilge pumps. Perhaps they'll chime in.

Best,
Mary Lou
