[Rhodes22-list] Jib sheet connection

Great! - I would usually call or see Jay or Mel and ask them their advice in
person before writing to the list - thanks guys.
Jay identified what I was looking for - I used to use a small set of those
clips on a lightening in the 80's. I did not remember the name and a general
web search by me failed to find them.

In a response from Rick he questions whether the angle of the sheets will be
wrong. - I appreciate that concern but know what I have to do. I have blocks
that I can hang from the stern to run the sheets at a different angle. This
is a work in progress. At this point just want to fiddle with the sheets.

As always everyone's input is appreciated.

Thanks to all who have responded (and will).

Guys,
First, I'm in as of 3 PM today, so all is right with the world. June 4th
possible.
Second, I've been down this road on a quick release going from gennie to the
UPS sail. Rather than heavy shackles, check a set of sister clips, strong,
light weight, no moving parts, inexpensive, and quick-<

See you all soon.

sure that the extra weight would also effect the spinnaker adversely. The
other issue is that if you have to transfer back to the jib quickly, it will
take an extra step to get the jib sheets reattached once the spinnaker is
cleared. Are you going to be around the weekend of June 4th? Maybe we can
get together with Jay.
