Here's is a thought.

Instead of certifying boats, certify *owners.*  I just imagine the jokes
that are coming....

Seriously,

We all pay an annual fee and get the benefits of a certified boat *owner *each
year.
I would pay $100 a year for the benefits of staying in touch in Stan and
GB.  If you are already certified, you stay that as long as you own that
boat.  Plus we have the gratification of supporting someone who really
stands by his product, so we can be so proud of it!

We can put a Paypal or other link on GB and Rhodes sites.  An official *
unofficial* owners association.

On top of this a Rhodes Day once a year.  Get some boats on the Albemarle,
cookout at GB, we can even clean up the lot and run a weedeater or two.  ;>)

As a new owner, who knows where I am paddling, but I like the idea.......
