Dennis,

            Attached are some picts of the old Aluminum tube furling jib
arrangement.  It is a simple piece of equipment with one moving part.  The
bushings at the bottom and top are easy to fabricate out of HDPE or similar
type of plastic.  Sometimes the disk may need a bit of welding to reattach
it to the tube if bad things happen to it.  Hope this helps.
