[Rhodes22-list] Air Scoop

Greetings,

I have an 89 Recycled Rhodes.

It comes with the nice air scoop for the bow deck.

So far we have only day sailed as we have owned the boat for only a month.

Do folks keep the scoop installed?  Pointed forward to catch the wind while
sailing or at anchor?  Any problems of taking in spray while sailing?  Do
you leave it in while the boat is stored or docked?

The little fellow is sitting in the drawer in the galley waiting to be
installed.........
