Austin,
The two areas where the foam is located is nowhere near the wooden floor or
its supports. The area under the V berth has foam as well as under the
cockpit floor.

When i dismantled the rotten floor i found a large (2") hole into the
foam. I wondered if anyone had saturation problems from water in the bilge. I
may not know for sure until i weigh it at launch time. Percussion of the
hull doesnt sound like it is dense enough to be waterlogged.
