Thanks Rob,
That worked. I was able to search beyond 2011. I still wonder about the 
status of the update on the  index. I enjoyed browsing it and often 
found useful information I would have never thought to ask. I 
understand maintenance of the list is an unfunded "mandate".

Mike had previously posted how to use Goggle to search the site. Might 
try it.

Thanks Mike. I am using that link but I am only getting archived
messages posted within the last year. Is this operator error or it
this related to the message posted above the search? "The Nabble search 
index
is currently being rebuilt. Search results may be incomplete."
