Bob--
Some R22 list members may remember that I asked questions when I was trying to choose between the R22 & the 26RK. I was really impressed by the latter, though I never got out on one. The 2 boats have lots in common & at one time Stan sold the 26RK or one of it's fore-runners. (A question which remained unanswered was whether he ever rigged one with an IMF.) Everything I read about it & saw at the Annapolis show was positive. I ultimately chose the R22 because it's more trailerable and the better boat for a single-handing amateur like me. Also, though I liked _____ Hake (can't recall his first name at the moment) a good deal--he's the principle designer--I like Stan even more.

Bob,
You took the words out of my mouth...
Imagine the tow vehicle to pull that beast, now with a big sister "towable". Did they do demo sails? There is the goal, is it really fun to sail? Your reports from the show sure lend credence to our Rhodes!

Have a nice day!
