Mike,
I don't need no stinkin' clean or warm plugs to get my motor started--not
since they invented the greatest invention for MANkind--the little blue
pill. Although a TV remote comes in at a close second.
As for sailing into my slip; that's a little more difficult:

If my (outboard) motor dies at sea I'll give it a try but it won't be
pretty.

Lee,
Can't get your motor started? Really, is that a discussion for da list? Oh,
your outboard engine is cranky - maybe this is an opportunity to learn
better sailing technique. Stan never needed a motor ...

We haven't even had a flurry yet--not that I'm complaining. We've had
enough
snow over the last few winters to last me a lifetime:

I tried to go sailing over the holidays and I couldn't get my motor started.
I'm sure if I clean and warm the spark plugs I won't have any trouble but
it's been over a month since I've been out and I'm starting to go through
withdrawal.
I need a fix and I need it bad.

My guess is Christmas/New Year's holiday time.......know that in this
household, we had company from the 26th through the 1st (put the last
couple on an airplane at 7 pm last evening......Rod is looking forward
to a 'brisk nap' this afternoon.....and we shouldn't have to see any
grocers for another week!)
The tundra is frozen. We got about 2 inches of 'packing' snow on New
Year's Eve. Our daughter (lives in Austin, TX now) went outside and
made a snowman at midnight! Time to relax and watch the Badgers in the
Rose Bowl!
