Patrick...I have had some success with a flexible cowl-like scoop which was
supplied by Stan. I have the anchor line running through it to the bow
mounted anchor. It faces to the rear while I'm sailing and I have not had
water in the locker, but I don't sail in rough weather. The opening is
always open to the interior of the boat and provides helpful ventilation.
