[Rhodes22-list] I'm wet (with a twist)

Rob:

No, there was lots of rain and wind involved.  It was that storm that crippled the east coast week before last.  There are (apparently) a plethora of entry points on our boat in those conditions.  Odds are that I was just in the worst of locations in the worst of weather conditions with the worst damn luck in the fleet.  At least I am a stand-out at something.  TTFN

>There will be some water visible in the cockpit drain when viewed from the cockpit.  I'm with Mary Lou in that if you are getting water into the boat with no rain, wind, or heeling; there are two likely places.  The centerboard housing, which is unlikely if you haven't taken it apart lately, and the cockpit drain.  Take a real close look at the hose and thru hull of the cockpit drain hose which you get to through the laz.  The hose looks like radiation hose with a couple of hose clamps on it.  A loose clamp or a worn hose may be an issue.  Good luck! - rob

Everyone has given me excellent information with which to investigate a variety of causes.  I suppose, now is the time to make up a checklist and begin to tic off possible sources.  Tally ho!  Thanks to all.
