[Rhodes22-list] Changes in weight distribution(towing/backing up)

When I back up my Rhodes onto the driveway and into the boat parking spot,
there is a small grade at the bottom of the driveway. The Triad trailer
frame bottoms out and scrapes the driveway. I place a pair of two 3' 2x10
planks, stacked one on top of the other under the wheels of the trailer just
before point where he frame scrapes. As I back up onto the lumber, the
trailer lifts enough so that the frame does not scrape.

I see we all share the same concern with clearance at the stern when backing
up. The triad trailer frame ground clearance is something I'm concerned
with. Has anyone heard of someone having trouble with this frame on the
"approach" of backing up a hill?
The information that I'm collecting from all of you is very helpful, so
thank you. The last thing I want is to post..."what do you do when your R22
is off its bunks in your driveway?"

Newbie here.
Another voice of experience (poor one): Make sure the rudder is up enough
to clear changes in elevation as you back up a hill.
