My tohatsu 9.8 four stroke electric start 25" shaft weighs 86# i think. I use for coastal tides waves.
My suzuki 4hp 4 stroke manual start 20" shaft weighs about 20# less. I use this for flat lakes and slow rivers.
they both seem to use the same amount of fuel. "Higher rpms on the 4hp"
